HIHR Antwerp – May 31, 2023

For informal talks, (pre) Seed and Series A pitching

We invite all HIHR-alumni and ventures that seek funding between €1 and €6 million euro to apply for the EIT Health Investor Network. Ventures that seek funding starting from €6 million euro up to pre-IPO are encouraged to apply for the Venture Centre of Excellence an EIT Health and EIF collaboration. The registration fee for this evaluationproces will be waved for the HIHR-alumni. The procedures for these two fundraising programmes are entirely separate. Please contact Nicolas van de Kerkhof for additional information.

After two years HIHR is happy to reconnect again to Flanders Bio and to organise its 12th pitch-edition in Antwerp on May 31, 2023 with Quickfire sessions scheduled the week before. We settle ourselves again on the eve of Knowledge for Growth and welcome you to the Darwin Hall at Room with a Zoo, located directly next to Antwerp Central Station. This to enable our delegates to join the State of the Union and/or the Knowlegde for Growth event afterwards.

Our Spring edition will be scheduled on the day before Knowledge for Growth (May – Ghent, Belgium). This way provide an additional incentive to attend our pitch event. Flanders Bio offers reductions on their conference fee and State of the Union event for those who want to combine our HIHR event with their event the day after.

The programme of this 12th edition will be revealed second half of April.

If you would like to receive a copy of the programme, send an email to claar-els@hihr.eu.

HIHR is teaming up again with the Investor Lounge of EIT-Health, thereby offering projects in the full pipeline the opportunity to connect with investors, industry partners and KTO-professionals. Both Quickfire-projects, Start-ups and Scale-ups look forward to presenting their ideas and investment opportunities. The propositions will presen either in person by a pitch presentation on May 31, Antwerp, Belgium, or by an informal online Quickfire session during the last week of May. For all these stages our primary aim is to offer an open dialogue with investors and corporates.

The programme for this edition will be published second half of April. A syllabus with summaries of all selected projects will be sent upon registration.
