Our next live pitch edition will take place in Rotterdam on November 22, 2023 with online Quickfire sessions scheduled November 13 – 15. We happily welcome you in the Rotterdam Science Tower to connect with the newest academic Health Spin-offs from the Benelux.

  • 8 Start ups seeking (pre-)Seed funding will present their proposition during the life pitch event. 
  • We’ve selected two alumni projects, seeking additional funding in ‘pre-series A’-stage to present their case, including a 5 minutes address to ‘lessons learned in their Start-up Journey’
  • 8 Early stage ideas or venture proposals not pitch ready yet look forward to receiving your feedback during online Quickfire sessions, taking place from Monday November 13 till Wednesday November 15.

HIHR offers a platform for researchers to connect in an informal setting with agents in the life sciences industry. Getting feedback from these experts could help you understand the potential of your technology. The HIHR Quickfire sessions and pitch-events are a great chance to bridge the gap from early academic innovations to real-world impact.

Registration

To secure the direct connection and intimate atmosphere, HIHR-events are ‘invitation-only’. If you would like to join us and are not on our investor/corporate mailinglist yet, you’re very welcome to send an email to claar-els@hihr.eu.

Investors/corporates will receive the link to the investor-registration form by email.

KTO/Spin off team-members that would like to join our event in Rotterdam need to register individually via this KTO/Spin off event registration form. 

On line event-registration is a pre-requisite to participate in Rotterdam. Registration closes November 15. Please contact claar-els@hihr.eu for any inquiries.

Venue

The event will take place in the Rotterdam Science Tower, Marconistreet 16, 3029 AK Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The registration desk, wardrobe, lunch and drinks can be found on the 11th floor. The pitch presentations will be given on the 9th floor. Press here for a floorplan. 

PARKING

Take the first garage entrance marked “P Rotterdam Science Tower“. Then walk via the side of the parking garage to the entrance on the western side of Rotterdam Science Tower.
Exiting the parking garage is possible without an exit ticket.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Take metro, tram or bus to Marconiplein station. The Rotterdam Science Tower is a 3-minute walk away.
