The event on 27 May brought together more than 70 participants for an engaging afternoon of presentations, discussions and networking. Attendance was strong, and the atmosphere throughout the programme was positive, open and constructive.
The pitch sessions were of a high standard and prompted a number of thoughtful exchanges between participants. The programme benefited from the assured moderation by Jeff, whose guidance helped maintain a good pace and encouraged lively but focused discussions.
The Dealflow Meetings were introduced as a pilot initiative. Although limited in scale, the format proved successful, resulting in more than 20 targeted meetings between participants. The quality of these conversations was encouraging and suggests that there is value in further developing this format at future events.
The KTO meet-up provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and perspectives on cap table health and founder-friendly deal terms, topics that are frequently encountered in the spin-out process. The discussion was well attended and generated a valuable exchange of practical insights and viewpoints among participants.
Overall, the event delivered a well-balanced combination of quality content and meaningful interaction. Strong participation, insightful contributions and positive feedback from attendees made it a successful edition and a worthwhile gathering for the community.
