To maintain a focused and intimate atmosphere, HIHR operates as an invitation-only platform. We actively welcome VCs, corporate partners, and venture builders to join our community. If you are interested in collaborating, we would be delighted to schedule an introduction call to explore the fit.

Don’t miss our Quickfire sessions—a unique chance to connect with researchers at the earliest stages of their work. These intimate, informal gatherings are designed for high-level exchange. Your feedback is incredibly valuable in helping these innovators shape their ideas, so please indicate your interest on the registration form.

After registration you will receive the syllabus with summaries of all spin off initiatives (pitch- and QF-sessions) and Outlook invites with MS Teams links of the respective Quickfire sessions, following the indication of your choice.

Strengthening academic ventures in the Benelux

Together with all stakeholders we can improve the academic venture building landscape in the Benelux and support new spin-off teams in their challenging journeys. We highly appreciate your support both financially and in kind in the direct exchange with young spin-off teams.

By contributing to the HIHR platform you will:

  • on the one hand get easy access to plans of new spin-off initiatives that fit your investment portfolio and meet the teams behind them from all Public Research Organisations in the Benelux in one go;
  • on the other hand strengthen the HIHR spin-off-VC platform by providing input to young teams that are eager to learn from your expertise, by helping them taking their first steps, while lowering the threshold to discover the world of entrepreneurship;
  • and support Healthcare innovators in the Benelux.

Our events are not possible without the support of all our stakeholders. As a private initiative, we do not receive structural public funding. The financial and in-kind contributions of our sponsors, supporters, and many volunteers enable us to operate as an independent, neutral, and not-for-profit initiative.

By financially supporting our initiative, you enable us to scout and select promising projects from academic research institutions across the Benelux, connect you to very early-stage opportunities (Quickfire sessions), and provide high-quality, well-prepared pitch presentations.

Together, we build and strengthen the pipeline of new innovations in Human Health in the Benelux.
